“The Overload”, het debuutalbum van het uit Leeds afkomstige Yard Act werd in januari 2022 met 4- en 5-sterrenreviews in de internationale muziekpers onthaald en bevestigde bevestigde de hype tijdens optredens op Pukkelpop en in de Antwerpse Trix. De groep schopte het tot op de shortlist van de prestigieuze Mercury Prize, de longlist voor de BBC Sound Of 2022 én werd door BBC radio 6 tot album van het jaar bekroond. Niet slecht voor het debuut van een groep die pas in 2019 het levenslicht zag. “The Overload” wordt nu opnieuw uitgebracht als een dubbel LP met de audio van de NPR Tiny Desk sessie van Yard Act als extraatje op gouden vinyl.
